Carlos Soto-Quezada joined Iverson Reuvers in the fall of 2024 after clerking for the firm in the late summer. Carlos came to the firm after graduating from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he was a Dean’s Distinguished scholarship recipient, and participated in both the Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Moot Court and the James H. Binger Center for New Americans Rural Immigrant Access Clinic. Prior to law school, Carlos was an elementary school teacher in the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota as a part of Teach For America, where he taught upper elementary school.
Carlos takes immense pride in delivering accessible, compassionate, and efficient legal representation. Pro Bono immigration work is central to Carlos’s dedication to giving back to his community.
Outside of the law, Carlos enjoys recreational sports such as volleyball, softball, and kickball. Carlos additionally enjoys performing magic tricks and reading.
